Terms of service
Last updated: November 8, 2026
1. Purpose
These general terms of use and sale govern access to and use of Fleedy. Fleedy is a rental vehicle inspection service published by MC VTC, sole trader (micro-enterprise), SIRET 928 342 385 00046, 3 Rue du Leitrim, 35510 Cesson-Sévigné, France. The service includes the website, the web area and the mobile app: departure and return inspections, fleet management, sealed PDF report generation and public verification.
2. Acceptance and business customers only
Fleedy is reserved for professionals acting in the course of their business. By creating an account, the customer declares that they are acting in a professional capacity. The French Consumer Code does not apply to this relationship: the customer has no right of withdrawal as provided for consumers. Creating an account, together with the sign-up checkbox, constitutes acceptance of these terms, of the data processing agreement below and of the Privacy policy.
3. Account creation
The customer creates an account in the name of their company with accurate, up-to-date information. The administrator is responsible for their team’s access, for the confidentiality of credentials and for actions carried out with their agency’s accounts. Accounts are subject to the plan limits (active vehicles and staff accounts). The customer may delete their account from their area; the effects are described in the Privacy policy.
4. Trial and subscription
Free trial: the Starter plan includes a 14-day free trial with Starter plan limits and no payment card required. At the end of the trial without a subscription, or if a payment fails, the account switches to read-only mode: the customer can view their data but can no longer modify it or carry out inspections until they subscribe or settle the payment. Plans: Starter, Pro and Fleet, each with its own limits. The customer may change plan at any time from their billing area without losing their history.
5. Prices and VAT
Prices are shown excluding VAT, in the currency of the selected pricing region, on the Pricing page. VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Fleedy may change its prices; any increase is notified at least 30 days before it applies and takes effect only from the next renewal. The customer may cancel before then.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payment is processed by Stripe. The subscription is monthly and tacitly renewed each month, with the price charged at each due date, until canceled. The customer may cancel at any time from their area (billing portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period; the period already started remains due and is not refunded. If a payment fails, the account switches to read-only mode until it is settled.
7. Customer obligations
The customer: • warrants the lawfulness of the data and content they enter (photos, identity documents, signatures) and has a legal basis to process them; • informs renters about the processing of their data and the use of Fleedy as a processor (Articles 13 and 14 GDPR); • collects signatures with the consent of the individuals concerned; • uses the service in compliance with the law and does not attempt to alter, circumvent or disrupt it; • keeps its own copies of the PDFs it needs, as PDFs hosted by Fleedy are deleted under the schedule in the Privacy policy.
8. Service availability
Fleedy endeavours to provide continuous access to the service but has only an obligation of best efforts. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, incidents or failure of a provider (hosting, network). The inspection flow requires an internet connection.
9. Signature and sealing of reports
Fleedy uses a simple electronic signature within the meaning of the eIDAS Regulation, reinforced with technical evidence (“SES+”): the renter and the agent sign by drawing their signature on screen. When the inspection is completed, Fleedy seals the PDF report: its SHA-256 digital fingerprint is recorded with a server timestamp. Any later change to the PDF is detectable on the public verification page. This process is neither an advanced or qualified electronic signature nor a certification by a third-party certifier. The evidential value of signatures and reports is assessed by the judge. Fleedy does not guarantee their acceptance by an insurer, a court or any third party. The fingerprint makes it possible to prove that the report has not been modified since it was signed.
10. Liability
Fleedy is liable only for direct damage resulting from a proven breach of its obligations. Its total liability is limited to the amounts paid by the customer in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. Indirect damage is excluded: loss of revenue, customers or opportunity, loss of data that was not exported, disputes with renters, refusal of cover by an insurer. These limitations do not apply in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or to personal injury.
11. Intellectual property
The service, its software, brand, interfaces and documentation belong to MC VTC. The customer receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for the duration of the subscription. The customer keeps all rights in their data and content and authorizes Fleedy to host and process them to provide the service.
12. Personal data
Each party complies with the GDPR. For account and billing data, Fleedy is the data controller (see the Privacy policy). For renter data, the customer is the data controller and Fleedy its processor, under the agreement below.
13. Data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR): subject and scope
The customer (data controller) entrusts Fleedy (processor) with the processing of personal data on its behalf, in order to provide the service. • Duration: that of the subscription, followed by deletion or return (see Article 14). • Nature: hosting, storage, consultation, PDF report formatting, sealing, email delivery, purging. • Purpose: carrying out and documenting departure and return inspections. • Data subjects: renters and drivers, the customer’s agents. • Categories of data: identity and contact details, driving licence, identity document (photo), photos of the vehicle and damage, signature (image), mileage, fuel level, notes, vehicle data. No biometric data is processed.
14. Data processing agreement: Fleedy’s commitments
• Instructions: Fleedy processes data only on the customer’s documented instructions, consisting of these terms and the use of the service. It informs the customer if an instruction appears to infringe the GDPR. • Confidentiality: persons authorized to process the data are bound by confidentiality. • Security: Fleedy implements the measures described in the Privacy policy (encrypted connections, isolation between agencies, role-based access control, automatic purging). • Sub-processors: the customer authorizes Supabase (hosting, European Union, Germany), Vercel (website hosting, United States), Resend (emails, United States), Stripe (payment) and, if enabled, Plausible (audience measurement, European Union). Fleedy imposes equivalent obligations on them and informs the customer of any change at least 15 days in advance; the customer may object on legitimate grounds or cancel. • Assistance: Fleedy helps the customer respond to data subject requests and carry out impact assessments and prior consultations. • Data breach: Fleedy notifies the customer without undue delay and at the latest 48 hours after becoming aware of it, with the relevant information. • End of contract: renters’ personal data is deleted or anonymized under the retention schedule in the Privacy policy, or earlier on the customer’s written request. The customer may export its PDF reports before the contract ends. Integrity fingerprints are kept for public verification. • Audits: Fleedy makes available to the customer the information needed to demonstrate compliance and allows audits, once a year with reasonable notice, at the customer’s expense and subject to confidentiality. • Transfers: they are governed as described in the Privacy policy.
15. Changes to these terms
Fleedy may change these terms. Changes are notified by email or within the service at least 30 days before they take effect. A customer who keeps using the service accepts them; otherwise they may cancel. The current version is published on this page.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Rennes (the publisher’s registered office is in Cesson-Sévigné) have sole jurisdiction. Contact: support@contact.fleedy.app
