Frequently asked questions about Fleedy
Considering Fleedy for your rental business? This page gathers the questions operators ask before they start: the product, the trial, data, legal value, team roles and technical constraints.
The product in short
Fleedy is an app for iOS, Android and the web. Your agent follows a guided flow at pickup and at return: photos, mileage, fuel, annotated damage, then the renter's and the agent's signatures.
At the end, Fleedy produces a sealed PDF report. A SHA-256 fingerprint of the file is recorded, so anyone can check that the PDF has not changed, without creating an account.

Frequently asked questions
What is Fleedy?
Fleedy is a condition-report app for vehicle rental operators. Your agent inspects the vehicle at pickup and at return, the renter and the agent sign on screen, and Fleedy generates a sealed, verifiable PDF report.
Which vehicles can I inspect?
Cars and motorcycles, scooters included. Each plan's limit applies to the number of active vehicles.
What does a Fleedy inspection contain?
The guided flow covers the renter, documents (driving licence, optional ID), mileage and fuel, vehicle photos, annotated damage and signatures. At return, the report compares the final condition with the condition at pickup.
How does the free trial work?
When you sign up, your agency starts on Starter with a 14-day trial and no card, whichever plan you viewed on the pricing page. When the trial ends, the account becomes read-only until you subscribe. For Pro or Fleet, you subscribe from the billing area.
How long does it take to get started?
You can complete a first inspection as soon as your account is created. The 14-day trial does not ask for a card.
What is the difference between plans?
The number of vehicles and accounts, and the level of support: Starter 5 vehicles and 2 accounts at 29 EUR excl. VAT per month, Pro 20 vehicles and 5 accounts at 79 EUR, Fleet 75 vehicles and 10 accounts at 199 EUR (European prices). Support goes from email (Starter) to priority onboarding (Pro) to priority support (Fleet). Features are identical everywhere.
How long is my data kept?
Source photos and identity documents are deleted when the return is finalized, and at the latest one year after certification. Damage photos and hosted PDFs are kept for one year. The report's digital fingerprint is kept so the report can still be verified.
What happens to the renter's personal data?
Renter details are anonymized one year after the linked inspection is certified, and the renter's name is then removed from the certificate. The report stays verifiable through its fingerprint, without showing anything about the renter.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. A team member can delete their own account. If the only admin deletes theirs, the agency is deactivated and its personal data is purged after 30 days.
What is the legal value of the report?
Fleedy produces an enhanced simple electronic signature (SES+): server timestamp, integrity fingerprint and PDF sealing. It is neither an advanced nor a qualified signature within the meaning of the eIDAS Regulation; its evidential value is assessed by the judge. The digital fingerprint makes it possible to prove that the report has not been modified since it was signed.
Can I edit an inspection after it is validated?
No. Once the inspection is signed, the inspection, its certificate and the sealed PDF report are created together and locked on the server. If you made a mistake, report it to support from the app settings.
How do I verify a PDF report?
Open the verification page, enter the inspection ID shown on the report and drop in the PDF file. The PDF is hashed in your browser: only its fingerprint is sent, never its content. No account is needed.
Does the renter receive the report?
Yes. From the recap, you send the sealed PDF to the renter and to the agency contact, whatever your plan.
Who can access billing?
Billing and agency settings are admin-only, on every plan. Team members run inspections and view the fleet.
How do I add team members?
The admin opens the Team section in settings and adds a member, up to the account limit of your plan. The admin can also suspend someone's access without losing the inspections they already carried out.
Do inspections work offline?
No. An internet connection is required to upload photos and signatures and to seal the report. Make sure you have signal where the handover takes place.
Which devices does Fleedy run on?
Fleedy runs on iOS, on Android and in a web browser. The inspection flow is designed for the agent's phone or tablet.
